Supervisor – Accounts Payable
May 27th, 2019This outgoing, articulate, energetic and low maintenance Supervisor of Accounts Payable brings a lot to the table both personally and professionally. A strong track record of eight years experience in the accounts payable space along with two in a leadership or management capacity. A ‘hands-on’ manager who is not afraid to ‘roll-up-her-sleeves’ and do what it takes to help the team meet a deadline or support what is necessary to ensure smooth efficiencies of the day to day processing of various types of accounts payable transactions. An integral member of the management team to ensure scheduling, training and development, coaching, and performance management were effectively utilized. Additional duties included; calculating and preparing monthly AP accruals and reconciliation for domestic and international divisions, reconciliation and coding of employee expense claims, preparation of AP related audit lead sheets and assistance with periodic audits, knowledge and experience with handling confidential information, prepare monthly and yearly lease and property tax payment and revenue prepaid/disposal reports etc. Was also instrumental in leading multiple projects such as developing a streamlined AP process to reduce bottlenecks for redolent workflow approvals and optimized pay run processes by working with the executive team to review the payables in report. Consistently part of developing, implementing and maintaining system improvements, policies, procedures and streamlining or process reengineering. Ideally targeting the $75,000 to $80,000 base salary range per annum. This individual is worth it and can be the ‘go-to’ person you need to effectively run this important area of your organization.
